I started my career 20 years ago; working and training with a regional firm of accountants. I progressed my career gaining experience with a large international retail company until, finally settling at a University for 10 years working in a variety of finance and project management roles.
In 2010, after the both of my first child, I started Downside Accounting Services so I could work with local businesses completing accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping and business mentoring. My business has grown throughout the years but the ethos of being led by my customers to help them grow is still at the heart of daily work.

As well as helping with the day to day accounting side of businesses, I also spend time with my clients, if they need it, working on developing strategies to build and grow their business. I am on call whenever they need motivation and guidance.

Tax returns​/Self Assessments - All sole traders need to complete a Self Assessment Tax return every year
